Bathroom got a sink :)

This mini crafting is unbelievable SLOW. All I've gotten done today is this sink for the bathroom and a jar full of cotton balls.

The sink unit is a cheap Eurominies washstand from which I ripped off the decorative mouldings from the top. The sink is a ready one and the blug is made from a earring stopper that I painted black. Now have to figure out how to make an shower unit as I want to do a couple of walls ready today.

Finally some progress :)

I've been working on the Toscana houses bathroom as I have to get the interior done before I can put all the walls on. I also stole the sleigh bed from Poe's house and did some bedding on it. And painted it as I found today more of the Waco glass paint :D

I did those "parfume" bottles and the silver jar today as I found also these nice pearls from the shop :)

And here's the shower curtain and some towels, the other one is actually toilet paper :D

I got also some "candle" light in the livingroom, painted the bulb with golden glass paint

And there's some food in the fridge :)

So non-productive day.

I haven't gotten almost anything done today. Frustrating. Did the stables, walked the dogs, did grocery, that's it. Should have cleaned, washed laundry, some minies could have been done but no, just wandering around mindlessly :D I did paint the handles of some Warwick kitchen knives. And filled the Toscana houses fridge.

I'm having trouble of deciding how the bed should be, I'm probably going to steal the sledge bed from Poe's house as I would love to have a Tudor styled bed there.

I should start with the roof so I could do the dividing walls for Toscana house, but doing the angles is going to be hell as the house is not straight. So avoiding it big time. And I don't even want to think about doing the terracotta tiles for the roof...

I've been also thinking about the interior for the Poe's house, the kitchen is going to have tiled floor, don't know what to do for the walls. Living room is going to have highly polished mahogany wooden floor, which I have the material ready, only missing the stain. I've been thinking that panelled walls would look nice, also polished, but I would love to add some dark wallpaper.

Upstairs is going also have a wooden floor, I don't know yet if I'll do a bathroom or not, probably should.

The good thing about today that the internet connection is working properly finally after being shitty for 6 days. I've finally gotten some serious googling done and listened music from Youtube. Now off to bed, maybe I get something done tomorrow :)

Some dog stuff - mommy's little grumpy girl :)

We went on Saturday to this dog testing meant for Central Asian Ovtcharkas/Sredneasiatskaja Ovcharaka's. The idea was to see how well they defend their own space and owner agains an attacker - it's should be in the nature of these dogs as they are used in guarding sheeps from wolves and also to guard premises and owners. The dogs were tied on a tree the owner standing next to her. The tester was a well known former army dog trainer from Ukraine.

Caja was really calm on her place, but when the attacker approached, she got really pissed off as you can see in the picture :)

Doesn't she have fab teeth :D

And when the attacker got to close range, she bit righ away to the jacket and didn't let go.

She got top scores from the test and I'm so, so proud of her as she still has her natural insticts and acts like she should have :)

Chair and fire

Today I managed to do a chair and fire to the bedroom fireplace:

The chair is made from this cheap, a bit off-scale armchair. I cut the arm rests away and added wooden legs, the front ones have these cute brass casters. The whole chair is covered with one piece of fabric (found this really nice brown silk from my stash), as I didn't want to do any sawing - it's supposed to resemble a loose cover :)

The fire looks really nice in real, can't find any settings from my camera to get it right in the picture. I cut pieces of wood and glued them together. Painted the bulb with golden glasspaint and the light is inserted into a broken glass jar which I painted with golden and red glasspaints.

Today's last minies

Got some more minies done for the Toscana house - a bedside table for the bedroom, pictures for the kitchen and living room and some oil paint tubes and a dirty stool.

I need to do some nice books for the bedside table and the bed is also missing :) I'm doing all this small stuff and avoiding the roof and quite succesfully I have to say :D The bakkery has been negleted for a long time, I'll have to something with it also.

New things for Toscana house

Here's what I've done for the Toscana house

A shelf for paintings and a portfolio (behind the painting on the floor). I changed the cabinet, as I couldn't fit a warderope on the bedroom, so the clothes are stored in the atelier :) I also filled the basket underneath the table with sketchbooks and on the holder on the table there's a spatula. Also did an ivy on top of the warderope.

Also did a small ivy for the bedroom, it's growing on a metal frame, but you can't see it in the picture.

For the kitchen I made a small open shelving to get some more storage space :)

Also did a dish cloth for the kitchen and filled the sideboard (on the background) with table linen and did a small topiary. I might move to the topiary to the livingroom if I manage to do some lavender and pelargoniums :)

Now off to do some more minies :)
