Today's minies

I did the dividing wall to the bedroom and bathroom. It's not fixed yet as I need to add some stuff for the bathrooma and have to do the door also - which I don't feel like doing right now :)

I filled the basket next to the fireplace with little pine cones, they can be little fire starters :)

Yippee, walls :D

This is what I've been doing today:

The door took so long to do and I did a mistake while gluing the wall so the door doesn't close 100%, but I really don't care right now :)

I really like how the bedroom is looking, on the bed and on the nightstand there's a couple of books made by Treefeathers, they are really wonderful :) The wall light is my DIY one, it turned out quite nicely :) The bed still needs a patterned decorative pillow.

I still try to do the railings for the staircase today and some other finishing stuff, as the rest of the family is watching ice-hockey. I was going to do also the last bathroom wall, but can't as I need so many little things for the bathroom before I can close it up. It's quite stupid to do so much stuff to a room which will be visible only from the door and the window. But anyways, I want a couple wall hooks with jewellery hanging on them, a small pouch for small things, a shelving for hairspray etc. I want also to have a bathrope. So, lot's of small things to be done. And I'm not that good with the mini-mini things.

Shower coming on :)

I've made two walls of tiles for the shower cubicle and the shower head - thanks to The Old Maid for her wonderful idea - it's a ear plug from my hub's handsfree unit :D Shhh, don't tell him, he never uses it anyways :D

I have to do a small shelf for the shampoo and stuff before I can close it for good. And don't mind the wire coming under the floor, it's for the bedrooms wall light.

I'm having some progress also on my Lily and Poe's houses - today I ordered a shaving set and a fireplace for the Poe and wallpaper, some china and a sidecabinet for the Lily. I also couldn't resist William Morrises wallpaper so I'm going to have the Snakehead and Wey papers. The Wey might go to the Poe's bedroom, have to see how it looks like IRL.

Bathroom got a sink :)

This mini crafting is unbelievable SLOW. All I've gotten done today is this sink for the bathroom and a jar full of cotton balls.

The sink unit is a cheap Eurominies washstand from which I ripped off the decorative mouldings from the top. The sink is a ready one and the blug is made from a earring stopper that I painted black. Now have to figure out how to make an shower unit as I want to do a couple of walls ready today.

Finally some progress :)

I've been working on the Toscana houses bathroom as I have to get the interior done before I can put all the walls on. I also stole the sleigh bed from Poe's house and did some bedding on it. And painted it as I found today more of the Waco glass paint :D

I did those "parfume" bottles and the silver jar today as I found also these nice pearls from the shop :)

And here's the shower curtain and some towels, the other one is actually toilet paper :D

I got also some "candle" light in the livingroom, painted the bulb with golden glass paint

And there's some food in the fridge :)

Chair and fire

Today I managed to do a chair and fire to the bedroom fireplace:

The chair is made from this cheap, a bit off-scale armchair. I cut the arm rests away and added wooden legs, the front ones have these cute brass casters. The whole chair is covered with one piece of fabric (found this really nice brown silk from my stash), as I didn't want to do any sawing - it's supposed to resemble a loose cover :)

The fire looks really nice in real, can't find any settings from my camera to get it right in the picture. I cut pieces of wood and glued them together. Painted the bulb with golden glasspaint and the light is inserted into a broken glass jar which I painted with golden and red glasspaints.

Today's last minies

Got some more minies done for the Toscana house - a bedside table for the bedroom, pictures for the kitchen and living room and some oil paint tubes and a dirty stool.

I need to do some nice books for the bedside table and the bed is also missing :) I'm doing all this small stuff and avoiding the roof and quite succesfully I have to say :D The bakkery has been negleted for a long time, I'll have to something with it also.

New things for Toscana house

Here's what I've done for the Toscana house

A shelf for paintings and a portfolio (behind the painting on the floor). I changed the cabinet, as I couldn't fit a warderope on the bedroom, so the clothes are stored in the atelier :) I also filled the basket underneath the table with sketchbooks and on the holder on the table there's a spatula. Also did an ivy on top of the warderope.

Also did a small ivy for the bedroom, it's growing on a metal frame, but you can't see it in the picture.

For the kitchen I made a small open shelving to get some more storage space :)

Also did a dish cloth for the kitchen and filled the sideboard (on the background) with table linen and did a small topiary. I might move to the topiary to the livingroom if I manage to do some lavender and pelargoniums :)

Now off to do some more minies :)

Fuses arrived - we have light :D

This time I was smart and ordered 20 fuses at one time - now I have some to burn :D Here's how the house looks like with the lights on:

Manged to do some small things today, a basket for spare toilet paper rolls and a holder for it.

Now I have to start hunting for some Waco glass paint as I need lots of more and the first one is now finished - it just seems that it's really hard to find.

The kitchen got a fridge and shelving on the wall.

Her paint brushes are in pretty bad shape :D I'll have to try some nicer ones tomorrow.

Should start with the dividing walls, but I might have to make the roof first so I can see how the walls should slope. It's going to be difficult, let me tell you :)

Toscana house coming together, finally :)

tI've been working with the Toscana house for the weekend what I've had time from my son's hockey tournament. And here's how it looks like now:

I couldn't put the lights on as I burned today 4 fuses before I got one defect light fixed and now I'm out of fuses.

There will be a shower in the bathroom in that small tiled square. I added some wall scones above the bedroom fireplace.

This is how the work space/atelier looks, the door opening on the right is going to be access to a small balcony.

The table is made of ready turnings and balsa, I am really happy how it turned out :)

Here's how the livingroom looks like from the kitchen.

Still tons to do, but some progress. Now I have to figure out the shape of the roof before I can do the dividing walls upstairs.

Now for a well earned cig and cup of coffee :)
